Hezbollah and Israeli security forces have exchanged attacks across the Lebanon-Israel border in a marked escalation in the region since October 7. The attack occurred at a festival in Solengen to honour the town's 650th anniversary, police said. The town is located in North Rhine-Westphalia state, Germany's most populous city bordering the Netherlands.
