Body of Raghunandan Paswan (21), a native of Kanholi village in Bihar’s Darbhanga district was found chopped into seven pieces and stuffed in a gunny bag in Mumbai’s Gorai on Nov 10. A senior Mumbai police officer said an “interfaith relationship” was the main motive behind the murder.
Passing a slew of directions, the bench said, "No demolition should be carried out without a prior show cause notice returnable either in accordance with the time provided by the local municipal laws or within 15 days time from the date of service of such notice, whichever is later".
