Akhilesh Yadav, who joined Rahul Gandhi at the press conference, stated that the promises made to the farmers and the youth by the BJP proved to be false.

While Modi will attend two public meetings in Thiruvananthapuram and Thrissur, Rahul will hold a public meeting in his constituency Wayanad, from where he is contesting for a second term.
