The explosion took place in front of a sweet shop near a park in the same area where a strong blast ripped through a wall of a CRPF school on Oct 20.
At the winter session of Parliament, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw urged the Standing Committee of Parliament to take up the issue so that stricter laws are made to deal with the menace.
The incident occurred in July of this year but was reported to the Powai police on Nov 26. Prime Minister Narendra Modi cautioned people about the growing threat of "digital arrest" frauds. "We welcome the ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon that has been announced. We have always called for de-escalation, restraint and a return to the path of dialogue and diplomacy. We hope these developments will lead to peace and stability in the wider region," said a statement by the Ministry of External Affairs.
