Space agency ISRO on Sunday released the first set of pictures of the earth captured by Chandrayaan-2, the country’s second moon mission launched a fortnight ago.
Antrix Corporation, the commercial arm of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), launched 239 satellites earning Rs 6,289 crore revenue, the government informed the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.
A 13-kilogram celestial object, suspected to be a meteorite, was brought to a museum here after being discovered in Madhubani’s Mahadeva village. The object, having magnetic properties, crashed in the fields of the village under Laukahi block on Monday.

India’s second unmanned mission to the Moon, named Chandrayaan 2, has been put on hold citing technical issues, and a revised countdown is to be announced shortly.
