In a video message on Wednesday, Sunita, wife of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, criticized the BJP, accusing it of wanting to dismantle the Aam Aadmi Party and Delhi.
The party’s fifth list of candidates includes 111 names including Kangana Ranaut who is being fielded from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, famous Ramayan actor Arun Govil from Meerut, and former Congress MP Naveen Jindal from Haryana’s Kurukshetra.
The directive, related to the Water Ministry, was sent via note to Delhi Minister Atishi, showcasing his commitment to governance despite his detention.
Arvind Kejriwal's wife, Sunita, delivers a heartfelt message from her incarcerated husband, urging citizens to stand against those weakening India and expressing unwavering commitment to serving the nation despite adversity. BJP questions AAP MP's activities abroad amid ongoing political tensions.
Kejriwal has been remanded to ED custody until March 28 by Rouse Avenue Court in his alleged involvement in Delhi liquor scam.
Kejriwal will first contest the remand proceedings before the trial court and then come back to the apex court with another petition.
The Enforcement Directorate arrested Kejriwal in an excise policy-linked money laundering case on Thursday night and took him to the agency's headquarters.
