The Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru has expanded its undergraduate offerings by introducing three new BTech programs for the 2026 academic session.
Admissions to the newly announced courses will be conducted through JEE Advanced 2026 scores followed by JoSAA counseling.

The newly launched programs are:
Program Structure and Focus
According to the institute, the new courses have been designed to prepare students for advanced research, innovation, and interdisciplinary engineering fields.
IISc said that the programs integrate core engineering concepts with computational methods and foundational sciences to address complex technological and industrial challenges.
The curriculum during the initial semesters will focus on engineering fundamentals, mathematics, and computational training before moving into specialized areas of study.
The institute added that graduates from these programs are expected to develop analytical, computational, and practical expertise suited for careers in research institutions, academia, and global industries.
IISc Bengaluru currently offers undergraduate programs, including Bachelor of Science (Research) and BTech in Mathematics and Computing.
Until now, admissions to the BTech Mathematics and Computing program were conducted through JEE Advanced scores using the IISc admission portal.
This year, IIT Roorkee is the organizing institute for JEE Advanced 2026. The entrance examination is scheduled to be held on May 17.
