The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has extended the deadline to October 22, allowing eligible schools to complete pending student-list submissions for the 2026–27 academic session and 2027 board examinations.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has extended the deadline for 5,905 schools to complete pending formalities related to student registration and board examination applications. The revised deadline is October 22, 2026, replacing the earlier date of October 15.
The extension covers advance registration for students in Classes 9 and 11 for the 2026–27 academic session, along with examination application formalities for Classes 10 and 12 appearing in the UP Board examinations in 2027.

According to the report published by Careers360 on October 19, the additional time will enable the concerned schools to generate and download student lists and submit the required documents to the office of the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS).
The revised schedule concerns the following categories:
Classes 9 and 11: Advance registration for the 2026–27 academic session.
Classes 10 and 12: Student details and examination application formalities for the 2027 High School and Intermediate examinations.
The extension is intended for the 5,905 schools covered by the board's revised timeline. It should not be interpreted as a fresh registration window automatically available to every student or school.
The concerned school principals have been instructed to complete the outstanding procedures within the revised deadline. These include preparing the required student lists and submitting them to the DIOS office for further processing.
The submitted records must include candidate photographs and the prescribed fee-related documents, such as the relevant treasury challan or payment record, as applicable under the board's instructions.
Schools should carefully verify students' personal and academic details before submitting the final records to avoid discrepancies during the examination process.
Students should contact their school principal or the designated school official to confirm whether their registration or examination application has been processed successfully.
They should also check that their names, photographs, subjects and other required details have been entered correctly. Any pending issue should be reported to the school administration promptly, rather than waiting until the extended deadline.
For official notifications and updates, students and school authorities can visit the UPMSP official website.
Earlier deadline for the concerned school submissions: October 15, 2026
Revised deadline: October 22, 2026
Academic session for Classes 9 and 11: 2026–27
Board examination year for Classes 10 and 12: 2027
Schools covered by the extension should complete the remaining formalities by the revised deadline to ensure that eligible students' records are processed within the prescribed schedule.
