The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has extended the registration deadline for JEE Advanced 2026, allowing candidates additional time to complete their application process.
As per the updated notification, eligible candidates who qualified JEE Main 2026 can now apply until May 5, 2026, 11:59 PM.

The extension has been provided to ensure that aspirants are able to complete all formalities, including fee payment, without last-minute pressure.
Candidates are advised to verify all details carefully before final submission. The application will be treated as complete only after successful payment of the registration fee, as per official rules.
Steps to apply:
Step 1: Visit the official website jeeadv.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the registration link available on the homepage
Step 3: Log in using JEE Main application number, password, and security pin
Step 4: Check all personal and academic details displayed on the screen
Step 5: Upload the required documents in the prescribed format
Step 6: Pay the application fee through available online payment modes
Step 7: Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference
Candidates must ensure successful fee payment, as incomplete applications will not be considered valid.
JEE Advanced 2026 exam
The JEE Advanced 2026 examination will be conducted on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Candidates will be required to appear for both papers as per the scheduled timings issued by the authorities.
It is mandatory to carry the JEE Advanced 2026 admit card to the examination center. Entry will not be permitted without a valid admit card under any circumstances.
