Bridging Academia and Industry: AMU's Department of Architecture Hosts Industry-Academia Meet and Exhibition

On April 20, 2024, the Department of Architecture at Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), is set to host a dynamic Industry-Academia Meet and Exhibition. This event aims to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among professionals, academicians, and students, creating a vibrant platform for the exploration of ideas and innovations in the field of architecture and building design.
The inaugural session of the event will commence at 10:00 am, marking the beginning of a day filled with insightful discussions and engaging exhibitions. Prof. Sharmin Khan, Chairman of the Department of Architecture and Programme Convener, highlighted the distinguished lineup of speakers and patrons who will grace the occasion with their presence.

Under the esteemed patronage of the AMU Vice Chancellor and with Prof. Mirza Salim Beg, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, and Prof. M. M. Sufyan Beg, Principal of ZHCET, serving as Co-patrons, the event promises to be a convergence of academic excellence and industry expertise.
Eminent speakers from renowned institutions and architectural firms are set to share their insights during the event. These include Prof. Manoj Mathur from SPA, New Delhi; Prof. Rajat Ray, Ex-Dean of Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi; Dr. Arun Kapur from Amity School of Architecture, Lucknow, and Architect Gaurav Gupta from De:Cape Studio, Lucknow, among others.
