The protests were carried out by activists from the Hindu Sangharsh Samity. Around 50 people on Dec 2 gathered near the Bangladesh mission in Agartala to show outrage over Hindu monk Chinmoy Das's arrest and alleged attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh.
The scamsters posed as Delhi Police officers and claimed her name has emerged in a money laundering case linked to jailed businessman Naresh Goyal. They also forced the 26-year-old to strip during a video call before duping her.
