Bansal directed the leaders to make the Prime Minister’s nomination a historic and unprecedented event, with a significant turnout of Kashi residents at the nomination ceremony and visible crowds on the streets.
According to party sources, the PM’s nomination will occur at an auspicious time.
Ajay Rai, the state president of Congress and the Lok Sabha candidate from the INDIA Alliance, will file his nomination in Varanasi on May 10, a day that coincides with Akshaya Tritiya and Parashuram Jayanti.
