Congress party on Sundat declared its nominees for three out of the seven Lok Sabha constituencies in Delhi. The party has chosen Kanhaiya Kumar, the NSUI in-charge, as their candidate for the North East Delhi parliamentary seat.
As per a statement released by KC Venugopal, the Congress General Secretary in charge of Organisation, Kumar has been nominated to represent the party in the North East Delhi Lok Sabha seat, where he will be up against BJP's Manoj Tiwari.

The party has also announced that former MP and Congress leader Udit Raj will be contesting from the North-West Delhi parliamentary constituency, and JP Agarwal will be the party's candidate for the Chandni Chowk seat.
Furthermore, the Congress party has declared seven additional candidates who will be contesting in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.
Venugopal, on behalf of the Congress' Central Election Committee (CEC), confirmed that the names of three candidates have been finalized.
It's worth noting that the AAP and Congress have agreed to a seat-sharing arrangement for the Lok Sabha elections in several states. According to this agreement, out of the seven parliamentary seats in Delhi, AAP will contest in four seats while Congress will contest in the remaining three.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, neither of the parties managed to secure a seat.
