The Lok Sabha Election 2024 is currently underway, and it's already making headlines. The Samajwadi Party (SP) has raised allegations of booth capturing and malfunctioning of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) in Uttar Pradesh.
The SP has voiced concerns over the integrity of the voting process, claiming instances of booth capturing in certain areas. Booth capturing is a serious electoral malpractice where miscreants take control of polling stations and cast fraudulent votes.

In addition to this, the party has reported issues with EVMs in several polling stations across the state. These machines, which are crucial for the smooth conduct of elections, have allegedly been malfunctioning, leading to interruptions in the voting process.
The Election Commission has yet to respond to these allegations. It remains to be seen how these developments will impact the overall conduct and outcome of the Lok Sabha Election 2024.
