The Minority Development Department of the Government of Maharashtra has launched the State Minority Scholarship for Pursuing Higher Professional Education Scholarship to offer financial assistance to students from minority communities pursuing professional or technical degree/diploma courses.
The government of India’s Minority Development Department is offering scholarships to provide financial assistance to meritorious students belonging to minority communities namely Muslim, Buddhist, Christian, Sikh, Parsi, Jain & Jews to enable them to pursue Professional and Technical Courses.

Partial funding up to 50,000 per annum will be provided by the state.
Benefits
• For Technical Course ( Part-I of GR ) –Scholarship Amount Maximum Rs.25,000/- Per Annum or Actual Tuition Fees whichever is less.
• For Technical Course ( Part-I of GR ) –Scholarship Amount Maximum Rs.50,000/- Per Annum or Actual Tuition Fees and Exam Fee whichever is less effective from AY 2022-23.
Eligibility
a) Applicant should have a Nationality of India.
b) Candidate should be a Domicile of Maharashtra State.
c) Candidates should have passed SSC from Maharashtra State.
d) Applicant should be a” Bonafide Student of the Institute” and admitted for Professional and Technical courses (Diploma / Graduation / Post Graduation Degree) as mentioned in GR
e) Candidate should be admitted through a Centralized Admission Process (CAP) / Institute Level.
f) Applicant should not avail of any other scholarship/stipend.
g) The Total Annual Income of the Family / Guardian should not be more than 8 Lakhs.
