The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the JEE Main 2026 results on April 20, along with the list of candidates who have qualified to appear for JEE Advanced.

The entrance exam serves as the gateway for admission to undergraduate programs at the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) in engineering, science, and architecture disciplines.

The registration portal will go live at 10 am for qualified candidates. The exam pattern for JEE Advanced 2026 will remain in line with previous editions of the test.

According to the official information brochure, IITs offer a wide range of undergraduate and integrated programs such as Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Bachelor of Science (BS), and Bachelor of Architecture (BArch). These programs cover engineering, science, and design-focused disciplines across campuses.

The institutes also provide integrated courses, including Integrated MTech and Integrated BS-MS, designed for students seeking combined undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in a single academic track.

In addition, several dual degree options are available, including BTech-MTech, BS-MS, BTech-MBA, and BS-MBA, offering interdisciplinary pathways that combine technical education with management or advanced scientific training.

Admissions to all these programs are based on performance in JEE Advanced. Apart from IITs, institutions such as IISc Bengaluru, IISERs across multiple cities, IIST Thiruvananthapuram, RGIPT Rae Bareli, and IIPE Visakhapatnam also use JEE Advanced ranks for admissions. Candidates are advised to visit the official website for detailed course information.

JEE Advanced 2026 will be conducted by IIT Roorkee on May 17. Candidates are required to appear for both papers. Paper 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 pm, followed by Paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
