The new admission framework will use CAT 2025 scores and a single registration portal to shortlist candidates for interviews, aiming to improve transparency, consistency, and efficiency across participating institutes.

IIM Raipur has launched the Joint Admission Process 2026 to streamline MBA admissions across select Indian Institutes of Management after the declaration of CAT 2025 results.
Introduced in September 2025, JAP 2026 will serve as a common admission framework for IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, and IIM Tiruchirappalli.

As the coordinating institute, IIM Raipur will oversee the conduct and implementation of the process.
The participating IIMs are expected to announce the next stages of the JAP 2026 admission cycle soon in line with the approved common framework.
Candidates who meet the minimum academic requirements and CAT 2025 eligibility criteria will be required to complete mandatory registration through the JAP 2026 portal.

From the pool of registered candidates, applicants will be shortlisted for the personal interview round based on category-wise cutoff scores.
The personal interview stage is tentatively scheduled to be held between February and March 2026.
In an official release, IIM Raipur said, “The process aims to bring greater uniformity, transparency, and operational efficiency to the MBA admission process through a single-window application and evaluation framework. It is designed to enhance ease of access for applicants while upholding rigorous academic and selection standards.”
