The two-year online program, developed with TeamLease EdTech, offers specializations in AI and ML, cybersecurity, and cloud computing, targeting working professionals and recent engineering graduates.

The Indian Institute of Information Technology Dharwad has introduced an online MTech program in Computer Science and Engineering in partnership with TeamLease EdTech, offering specialization tracks in artificial intelligence and machine learning, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.
Admissions for the first batch of the two-year program are now open, with classes scheduled to begin in Feb 2026.

The total program fee is ₹3.54 lakh. Details on eligibility, curriculum, and application timelines are available on the official website, onlinedsai.iiitdwd.ac.in.
The program is aimed at working professionals, including software engineers, technology leads, and practitioners in cybersecurity and cloud computing, as well as recent engineering graduates seeking advanced technical training or a research-oriented career path.
The institute said the course has been structured to address emerging industry requirements while maintaining a strong academic and research focus.
Under the curriculum, the artificial intelligence and machine learning track covers deep learning, computer vision, natural language processing, and intelligent data-driven systems.
The cybersecurity specialization focuses on threat modeling, cryptography, governance, risk and compliance, and resilient cyber-physical infrastructure.
The cloud computing track includes cloud architecture, multi-cloud deployments, serverless and container technologies, DevOps practices, and cloud-native system design.
The program combines foundational coursework with applied, project-based learning to prepare graduates for leadership roles in advanced technology domains.
“We are delighted to launch this MTech program in partnership with TeamLease EdTech,” said Prof SR Mahadeva Prasanna, Director, IIIT Dharwad.
“By offering specializations in AI & ML, Cybersecurity and Cloud Computing, we are empowering our students and working professionals to become domain experts who can thrive in tomorrow’s technology-intensive landscape. This initiative reflects IIIT Dharwad’s commitment to high-quality education, applied research, and industry-relevant outcomes,” Prasanna added.
Shantanu Rooj, Founder and CEO of TeamLease EdTech, said the collaboration focuses on building stronger links between education and employment.
“Through this collaboration, TeamLease EdTech brings into focus our vision of creating education-to-employment pathways that are agile, domain-driven, and aligned with real-world opportunities,” he said.
“We believe this online MTech will not only deepen technical expertise but also prepare learners to lead in environments where humans and machines work together,” he added.
