Girls outshine boys in CBSE class 10 results 2025 with a 95% pass rate, and 8.43% of students scored above 90%, highlighting strong academic performances across the country.
CBSE declared the Class 10 board exam results for 2025 on May 13, revealing a national pass percentage of 93.66%, which reflects a slight increase of 0.06% from 2024’s 93.60%.
Girls continued to outperform boys, achieving a 95% pass rate compared to 92.63% for boys. Overall, 8.43% of students scored above 90%, and 1.92% secured marks above 95%.
Around 5.96% of students have been placed in the compartment category, according to information published on the official CBSE portal.
Among school categories, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) topped with a 99.49% pass rate, followed by Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) at 99.45%.
Private schools recorded a 94.17% success rate, Central Tibetan Schools (STSS) achieved 91.53%, government schools scored 89.26%, and government-aided schools had the lowest pass percentage at 83.94%.
However, the Prayagraj region saw a decline in performance, with a pass percentage of 91.01%, dropping to the 15th position from 11th last year, when it recorded 92.72%.
Students can check their results on the CBSE’s official websites—cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in—or download digital marksheets through DigiLocker, the UMANG app, and SMS services.
To use DigiLocker, students must access the portal via website or mobile app and log in with their registered mobile number or Aadhaar-linked credentials.
Once signed in, search for “CBSE Class 10 Result 2025” or visit the “Issued Documents” section.
Students need to provide their roll number, school number, admit card ID, and a 6-digit PIN issued by the school to download their verified marksheet as a PDF.
Alternatively, results can be accessed on CBSE’s websites by clicking the result link and entering the required credentials.
The UMANG app, developed by MeitY and NeGD, also offers access to CBSE results.
After logging in and navigating to the Education category, students can view and download their marksheets by entering their CBSE details for validation.
