The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday announced the CBSE results for both classes 10th and 12th, with girls outperforming boys by over 6.40% points in class 12th results.
Over 24,000 candidates scored above 95% while, over 1.16 lakh scored above 90 percent. Up to 35 lakh children registered for the Class 10 and 12 board exams this year.
Students can now check their result on cbseresults.nic.in and on results.cbse.nic.in. Additionally, the Class 10, 12 scores are also available on DigiLocker.
In Class 12, a total of 1,16,145 students secured 90% or above marks which is 7.16% of the total students passed. A total of 87.98% students and over 91% girls passed the CBSE senior secondary. 24,068 students scored 95 or more percentage in the Class 12 exams. 122,170 students, or 7.54% of those who appeared, have been placed in the Compartment category. This designation requires these students to retake the examination.
As many as 16,33,730 students registered for class 12 CBSE exam, of which 16,21,224 appeared and 14,26,420 passed the exam.
The board informed that 22,51,812 students registered for the Class 10 final exam, of which 22,38,827 appeared and 20,95,467 or 93.60 % passed.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi have congratulated the students on passing the board exams. Taking to X, he wrote, ““I am immensely proud of your accomplishment and your relentless dedication. I also acknowledge the efforts of your supportive families and dedicated educators, whose unwavering support has been crucial to this success.”
The Class 10 board exams were conducted from February 15 and to March 13, while Class 12 exams were conducted between February 15 and April 2. Last week the board announced the dates for marks verification process, which will begin on May 17 and continue till May 21 as per the schedule given by CBSE Board.
The board has emphasized that it will not entertain any requests related to CBSE board results activities after the specified deadline.
