Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has announced that ‘Golmaal 5’ will hit theatres on January 8, 2027, promising audiences laughter, fun, joy and family entertainment. The fifth instalment of the popular comedy franchise features Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Sharman Joshi, Shreyas Talpade and Kunal Kemmu, with Akshay Kumar also joining the cast. The film marks another chapter in the franchise that began with ‘Golmaal’ in 2006.
Karan Johar and Varun Dhawan are set to host the IIFA Awards 2027 in Abu Dhabi, while Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal will host the IIFA Digital Awards. The event will feature performances by Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. The awards will be held at Etihad Arena, Yas Island, on January 22 and 23, bringing together leading stars and talent from Indian cinema.
