Prior to founding X&Y, Snehal Malani gained extensive experience in architecture and design. She served as a Senior Architect and Team Leader at Planet 3 Studios Architecture Pvt Ltd from 2016 to 2019. From 2011 to 2014, she was a Self Practicing Principal Architect and Project Manager at InArch Studio.
X&Y is committed to sustainability, using FSC-certified Baltic Birch plywood in its furniture construction. The company also promotes the "Make in India" movement, offering customization to meet specific school needs. X&Y aims to reduce the use of plastic in children's daily lives by providing responsibly made and exceptionally high-quality furniture.
