VVISM and TalentSprint (Accenture) launch AI-driven BS Computer Science programme aligned with Union Budget 2026 skilling and apprenticeship vision

In the Union Budget 2026–27, the Government of India underscored a renewed emphasis on workforce development through skilling, structured apprenticeships, and industry-aligned training models aimed at enhancing employability and accessibility. Reflecting this national vision, Vishwa Vishwani Institute of Systems and Management (VVISM), a NAAC ‘A+’ accredited autonomous institution affiliated with Osmania University, has announced the launch of its Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme (AEDP) in BS Computer Science.
The four-year multidisciplinary undergraduate programme is being introduced in collaboration with TalentSprint, part of Accenture, a leading global deep-tech education company powered by AI. Offered under the UGC-approved AEDP framework, the programme integrates academic learning with structured industry apprenticeship to create highly employable, future-ready technology professionals.

The AEDP model represents a decisive shift from the traditional “learn first, work later” approach. Under this framework, up to 40% of the curriculum is delivered by industry experts, ensuring experiential learning through AI-driven applied labs, real-world projects, and continuous mentorship. Students gain up to two years of hands-on industry exposure before graduation, enabling them to graduate not just as coders, but as problem-solvers equipped for real-world challenges.
Backed by one year of assured apprenticeship and robust industry integration, the programme is designed to prepare learners for the fast-evolving, AI-led digital economy. The collaboration combines VVISM’s strong academic ecosystem with TalentSprint’s industry-aligned delivery to address one of the most pressing issues in engineering education today — the employability gap.
Commenting on the launch, Dr. M. R. S. Surya Narayana Reddy, Director – Admissions, VVISM, said:
“The Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Programme is a futuristic model for technology education. By integrating structured apprenticeship, AI-driven applied labs, and industry mentorship, we are reimagining engineering education. The BS Computer Science programme reflects our commitment to experiential learning aligned with the government’s skilling and apprenticeship agenda. Our collaboration with TalentSprint ensures that academic rigour meets industry expectations, especially in emerging domains such as Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing.”
Students enrolled in the AEDP programme will engage in guided internships, live industry projects, hackathons, bootcamps, and programming challenges, all supported by continuous mentorship from industry professionals. This hands-on exposure ensures graduates build a strong portfolio, practical expertise, and professional readiness before entering the workforce.
