Shakira at LIV Miami
Global popstar Shakira who was attending LIV Miami, an icon of Miami Beach nightlife was seen storming off stage after a few individuals recorded up her dress.
The Hips Don't Lie singer was invited to the stage to dance to the recently released song Soltera.
Once on stage, she began swaying to the music but soon realized that people were filming up her dress.
Shakira initially warned them and requested that they refrain from filming. She continually fixed her dress to shield herself, but they refused to comply with her request.
The singer tried to smile, but she was unhappy with the throng and stormed off. A video showing her losing her temper was shared online.
The video has drawn massive reaction online with many slamming the people for indecency.
“That’s truly disappointing behavior. Artists deserve respect and privacy, both on and off stage. It’s crucial to ensure a safe environment for everyone,” a post read.
“Whoever was filming should be arrested for sexual assault,” said another.
“That’s just beyond gross. Shakira had every right to walk off; no one should have to deal with that kind of disrespect, especially when she’s just out there performing her music.
People need to learn how to act with basic decency!” another person wrote. Shakira has not reacted to the incident till now.
The singer was in the spotlight a few months ago for her breakup. She had a relationship with Gerard Pique for 11 years. They have two children together, Milan, 11, and Sasha, nine. Shakira and Gerard eventually split up in 2022. Gerard allegedly cheated on her.
