The undergraduate courses will offer ACCA-aligned training, industry certifications, mentorship support, and internship opportunities aimed at improving employability and preparing students for finance sector careers.

Vivekanand Education Society’s Arts, Science, and Commerce College has announced two new undergraduate commerce programs for the 2026-27 academic session, aimed at strengthening industry-oriented learning and improving career readiness in finance and business sectors.
The newly launched courses include BCom in International Accounting integrated with ACCA and BCom in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI), an Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Program (AEDP).

According to the college, both three-year degree programs have been structured to equip students with practical skills, professional exposure, and knowledge aligned with changing industry requirements.
The BCom in International Accounting has been developed in collaboration with FPA Edutech Pvt Ltd and is aligned with the ACCA framework.
The program offers students up to nine paper exemptions and focuses on subjects such as global accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial management.
Students enrolled in the course will also receive more than 650 hours of expert-led training, access to learning management systems, mock tests, AI-powered learning tools, mentorship support, and academic guidance aimed at preparing them for international career opportunities.
The BCom in BFSI program has been introduced in partnership with the BFSI Skill Council. The course is designed to provide students with foundational knowledge in banking, finance, and insurance during the first two years of study.
In the third year, students will undergo a mandatory internship with stipend support as part of the apprenticeship-embedded structure.
The college said students will also receive certifications from the National Skill Development Council (NSDC) at the end of each semester to improve employability and professional readiness.
Dr Anita Kanwar, Principal VES College of Arts, Science, and Commerce (Autonomous), said, “At VESASC we are committed to bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, also providing global perspective and certification.”
“The introduction of BCom in International Accounting and BCom in BFSI reflects our focus on future-ready individuals and skill development. By introducing these programs, we aim to ensure that our students graduate with both global knowledge, expertise, and experience, making them job-ready from day one,” Kanwar added.
The institution said the programs are designed to strengthen analytical abilities, foundational business knowledge, and professional competencies through structured training, mentorship, and placement assistance.
