CBSE has extended the deadline for Class 12 students to apply for scanned copies of their evaluated answer books by one day following technical issues on its post-result services portal.
As per an official circular issued by the board, students can now submit applications for scanned answer sheets until May 23, 2026. The earlier deadline was May 22.

The board said the extension was granted after candidates faced technical difficulties while accessing post-verification facilities on the CBSE website.
“Candidates are advised to make use of this extended timeline and apply accordingly,” CBSE said in its notice, while clarifying that all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
The move comes after multiple students and parents reported problems while trying to access the verification and scanned copy application window.
Users had complained about login failures, payment glitches, and slow server response during high-traffic hours on the portal.
The additional day is expected to benefit candidates who could not complete the application process within the original timeline because of the disruptions.
Earlier this year, CBSE revised the fee structure for post-result services and sharply reduced the charges. The fee for obtaining scanned copies of evaluated answer books was cut from ₹700 to ₹100 per subject.
The verification fee was also reduced from ₹500 to ₹100, while the re-evaluation fee was lowered from ₹100 per question to ₹25 per question.
Students can apply for scanned copies through the official CBSE portal using their login credentials.
Once they receive the scanned answer books, they may choose to apply for verification of marks or request re-evaluation for specific responses.
CBSE has also announced that students will receive a refund of the re-evaluation fee if their marks increase after the rechecking process.
