IIRF University Ranking 2025: Usha Martin University (UMU), Ranchi, has secured rank 65 in the New Age Private University – Overall category of the IIRF ranking 2025.
This recognition underscores its growing academic impact in eastern India and strengthens its presence in the IIRF ranking best university listings.
Established in 2012 under the Usha Martin University, Jharkhand Act, the university was founded with a vision to deliver inclusive, quality higher education aligned with the Ministry of Education’s priorities.
It is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956 as a self-financing private university.
UMU is also an ISO-certified institution and a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with specific programs approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
