IIRF University Ranking 2024: No changes in top three positions under Top Deemed Government University for Research

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, Karnataka, is still holding the top spot. The Homi Bhabha National Institute in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and the Indian Agricultural Research Institute in Pusa, New Delhi, have both held their ranks of 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

IIRF University Ranking 2024: The Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) university ranking is released for the year 2024. IIRF is the most authentic non-government ranking framework in India, developed by the IIRF Centre for Institutional Research (ICIR). It ranks more than 1,000 educational institutions nationwide.

In the Top Deemed Government University (Research) category, the top three universities remained unchanged in 2024. The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, Karnataka, is still holding the top spot. The Homi Bhabha National Institute in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and the Indian Agricultural Research Institute in Pusa, New Delhi, have both held their ranks of 2nd and 3rd, respectively.

Mumbai, Maharashtra's Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), made a significant leap from its previous ranking of 8th to 4th, whereas the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, Maharashtra, dropped a spot to take the 5th position on the list.
