Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra, Jharkhand, and Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, managed to get ranks of 4th and 5th, respectively.

IIRF University Ranking 2024: The Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) university ranking is released for the year 2024. IIRF is the most authentic non-government ranking framework in India, developed by the IIRF Centre for Institutional Research (ICIR). It ranks more than 1,000 educational institutions nationwide.

Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, Rajasthan, topped the category of the deemed private university (based on faculty) of the IIRF university ranking in 2024. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, grabbed the 2nd position, followed by Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, Punjab, at the 3rd rank.
