IIRF University Ranking 2025: Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology (GBPUAT), Udham Singh Nagar, has secured Rank 1 in the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) 2025 under the State University Semi-Urban/Rural Region category.
Recognized as one of the top 10 government universities in India, GBPUAT is a leading government institution in agricultural and technological education.
Rank 2 has been awarded to Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Jorhat, while Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, holds Rank 3 in the same IIRF 2025 category.

Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Uttarakhand
Established in 1960, GBPUAT is a government university located in Uttarakhand. It comprises eight UGC-approved colleges and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
The university houses 14 research centers and over 100 departments, offering more than 137 courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels across streams such as commerce, arts, and management.

It offers 156 ICAR-approved courses at UG and PG levels across multiple disciplines such as business & management studies, medicine & health sciences, and veterinary science.
Key programs include B.Sc., M.Sc., B.F.Sc., BVSC, MVSC, and MBA/PGDM. The median package offered to students is around ₹56,197.
Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi
Established in 1998, Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) in Belagavi, Karnataka, operates through 182 affiliated colleges, one constituent college, and 25 autonomous colleges.
