IIRF University Ranking 2025: Adamas University, Kolkata has achieved significant recognition in the IIRF Ranking 2025, securing Rank 12 in the “Good for B.Tech and M.Tech Programs” category.
This highlights the institution’s continued commitment to engineering and technology education and its growing status among India’s top private universities.

The university also earned Rank 19 in the “New Age Private University – Overall” category.
This placement reflects Adamas University’s evolving academic vision and innovative teaching methodologies that align with modern educational needs.
In addition, Adamas University secured Rank 21 in the “Good for Arts, Science, Research & Humanities” category, underlining its interdisciplinary strengths and consistent focus on research-driven education.

Located in West Bengal, Adamas University is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Government of West Bengal. It holds an ‘A’ grade accreditation from NAAC.
The university offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma-level programs in fields such as Engineering, Commerce, Science, Liberal Arts, Management, Pharmacy, Law, Education, and Journalism.
BTech remains the university’s most sought-after course and is offered across nine specializations. Admission to the program requires students to have a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, and any one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a technical vocational subject.
Students must also secure at least 45% in each subject. The university conducts its own entrance exam, AUAT, and also accepts national-level test scores including MAT, XAT, and CAT.
At the UG level, Adamas University offers programs such as BTech, BSc, BPharm, BCA, BA LLB (H), BCom, and BA.
At the PG level, the institution provides MTech, MBA, MSc, MA, MPharm, MCA, and MCom, among other specialized courses. The university is also active in areas like Life Sciences, Biotechnology, and Education.
As per its 2023 report, a total of 84 BTech and 41 MBA students were placed during the Adamas University placements 2022.
The median salary package offered stood at ₹3.36 LPA for BTech students and ₹4.50 LPA for MBA graduates. Top recruiters included HCL, Airtel, TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Deloitte, and Wipro.
