The results show girls outperforming boys in pass percentage and are now available online as thousands of students across the state successfully clear the examination this year.

The Punjab School Education Board has announced the Class 8 board examination results for 2026, with the overall pass percentage recorded at 96.51%.
Students and parents can access and download the results from the official website, pseb.ac.in.

Tamanna, daughter of Narinder Kumar from Saraswati Senior Secondary School in Jaito, Faridkot, secured a perfect score of 600 out of 600, achieving 100%.
Girls outperformed boys in the results, recording a pass percentage of 97.74% compared to 95.42% among boys. Out of 262,996 students who appeared for the examination, 253,789 successfully passed.
To check the results, candidates need to visit the official website and click on the link for “Middle Examination Result February 2026.”
After entering their roll number or name and selecting “Get Results,” the scorecard will be displayed on the screen, which can then be downloaded for future use.
