The updated criteria reduce qualifying percentiles for all categories, keeping previously announced ranks intact, with candidates advised to check MCC’s website for counselling details and fulfil all eligibility requirements before final admission.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has lowered the qualifying scores for NEET-MDS 2025 following directions from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to reduce the minimum percentile requirement.
According to the revised criteria, the qualifying percentiles for all categories have been cut by 19.863 points, in line with the Dental Council of India’s MDS Regulations, 2017, and its 2018 amendment.
The NEET-MDS 2025 results were declared on May 15, and the updated cut-off scores for the 2025–26 academic session have now been released out of a total of 960 marks.
NBEMS confirmed that the revision will not alter the ranks announced in May.
Candidature will still be provisional until all eligibility requirements in the NEET-MDS 2025 information bulletin are fulfilled, including Face ID or biometric verification where applicable.
Candidates have been advised to follow the Medical Counselling Committee’s official website, www.mcc.nic.in, for counselling updates.
