Ministry of Education offers five free AI courses on SWAYAM portal

The Ministry of Education is offering five free artificial intelligence courses on the SWAYAM portal, covering applications in technology, science, sports, and commerce.

1. AI/ML using Python- Introduces artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts along with Python programming for data science. Covers data visualization, linear algebra, statistics, and optimization. Open to students with basic programming knowledge and high school-level mathematics.
2. Cricket Analytics with AI- Offered by IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, this course teaches the fundamentals of sports analytics, Python programming, and core concepts of data science.
3. AI in Physics- Designed for undergraduate students, this course explores how AI tools like machine learning and neural networks can solve real-world physics problems through interactive sessions, lab activities, and practical applications.
4. AI in Chemistry- For undergraduate science students, this course covers the use of AI in predicting molecular properties, designing drugs, modeling reactions, and more, combining theory with real-world datasets and lab work.
5. AI in Accounting- Targeted at commerce and management students, this course explains AI fundamentals and their integration with accounting principles, using both theoretical learning and hands-on data exercises.

"These courses combine conceptual learning with hands-on applications, helping students from varied academic backgrounds develop AI skills relevant to their fields," the Ministry said.

All courses are available free of cost on the SWAYAM platform.
