The national conclave will showcase proven education AI tools aligned with NEP 2020, inviting organizations with scalable solutions to submit proposals through the official portal for evaluation and national exposure.

The Ministry of Education has issued a national call for participation in the IIT Madras Bharat Bodhan AI Conclave 2026, inviting organizations with proven and research-backed artificial intelligence solutions for the education sector.
The two-day conclave is scheduled to take place on Feb 12 and 13, 2026, in Delhi. It aims to identify and showcase AI tools that have progressed beyond pilot stages and demonstrated measurable improvements in learning outcomes across educational settings.

The initiative emphasizes responsible and results-driven use of AI, in line with reforms outlined under the National Education Policy 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework.
The deadline for submitting Letters of Interest is Jan 29, with registrations and proposals to be submitted through the official portal.
Submissions are being accepted under four focus areas: AI for School Education, AI for Higher Education, AI for Skilling and Workforce Readiness, and AI Research and Deep Technology.
The call is open to solution providers, academic and research institutions, foundations, government agencies, and other stakeholders from India and overseas.
Inviting organizations to take part, IIT Madras Director Prof V Kamakoti said, “AI has the potential to address long-standing challenges in education, especially in areas such as foundational literacy and numeracy, teacher support, assessments, personalized learning, and large-scale system monitoring.”
He added that India’s education system is undergoing a significant transition and that technology can play a critical role in improving learning quality and inclusion.
As part of this effort, the Ministry of Education has established a Centre of Excellence in Artificial Intelligence for Education at IIT Madras, known as the IIT Madras Bodhan AI Foundation.
The center has a national mandate to develop responsible, scalable, and India-first AI solutions that function effectively across languages, regions, and socio-economic contexts.
The Bharat Bodhan AI Conclave 2026 is expected to bring together policymakers, educators, researchers, solution developers, investors, and industry leaders to evaluate AI-powered education tools for large-scale deployment.
Selected participants will receive national visibility and an opportunity to present their solutions directly to key decision makers.
Organizations will demonstrate their work through dedicated stalls and receive structured feedback from review committees, educators, and learners.
Participation in the conclave will also be mandatory for entities seeking future collaboration with the Centre of Excellence, including research partnerships, pilot initiatives, and integration with the Bharat EduAI Stack.
