Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Ghaziabad announced on Thursday, April 18 that its Summer Internship Program (SIP) for the 2023-2025 batch had attracted over 150 leading organizations, demonstrating their robust engagement and effective processes. The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme achieved a record stipend of INR 4.5 lac. The average stipend stood at Rs. 94,000, with a median of Rs. 80,000. The top 10%, 20%, and 50% of the batch secured average stipends of INR 2.74 lac, INR 2.29 lac, and INR 1.61 lac, respectively. Notably, female students at IMT Ghaziabad received an average stipend that exceeded their male counterparts by INR 38,000, reflecting the institute's ongoing commitment to gender diversity and female empowerment. Over 80% of the offers came from sectors such as BFSI, Consumer Goods & Products, IT/ITES, Manufacturing & Engineering, Consulting, Internet Business, and Media & Advertising. This year also saw a 49% increase in new recruiters for the summer internship.

The FMCG and Consumer Durables sector continued to be a sought-after sector on campus, with participation from companies such as Britannia Industries, Bajaj Consumer Care, Himalaya Wellness, Olam Agri, Emami, Dabur, GSK, Marico, McCain Foods, Mondelez, Nivea, Pernod Ricard, Reckitt, TATA Consumer Products, Asian Paints, Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting, YUM! Brands, Havells, Heritage Foods, Hygienic Research Institute, and many others.
The IT/ITES sector saw participation from prestigious firms such as Microsoft, Wipro Technologies, Genpact, QualityKiosk, Adobe, Cisco, Dell Technologies, Hexaware, Pine Labs, among others.
Participating firms in the Manufacturing & Engineering sector included Larsen & Toubro, Cummins, SKF India, V-Guard Industries, Vedanta, Adani Energy, and UltraTech Cement, among others.
The Consulting space saw the participation of Axtria, Deloitte, Gartner, Healthark Insights, Kroll, Positive Moves, Stanton Chase, and Thomas International, among others.
