UGC NET Exam 2023 will be held from Dec 6 to Dec 22. This examination will be conducted for Hindi, English, Maths and 82 other subjects.
UGC NET Exam 2023: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the dates for the UGC NET December 2023 examination. According to the notification, the UGC NET exam will commence on December 6 and conclude on December 22. This year, the examination will cover a total of 82 subjects, including Hindi, English, and Mathematics. The UGC NET exam will consist of two papers. NTA will announce the examination centers at the end of November. Admit cards for the UGC NET exam 2023 will be issued in the first week of December.
To be eligible for the UGC NET exam 2023, candidates must have a master’s degree from a recognized institution or university with a minimum of 55% marks. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-NCL, and PwD categories can apply with 50% marks in their master’s degree or equivalent degree.
The online application process for the UGC NET exam 2023 has already begun and interested candidates can fill the form until October 28. Candidates can edit their applications online on October 30 and 31. General category candidates are required to pay a fee of ₹1150, while SC, ST, and third gender candidates have to pay ₹325. OBC-NCL and EWS candidates need to pay ₹600 as the examination fee.
Talking about the exam pattern, the UGC NET exam 2023 consists of questions related to reasoning, comprehension, general awareness, and divergent thinking in one paper. The second paper focuses on questions related to the specific subject chosen by the candidate.

2. Click on the public notice for UGC NET December 2023 application.
3. Register first.
4. Fill in all the required information.
5. Upload the necessary documents.
6. After paying the fee, click on the submit button to complete the form submission process.
Candidates who pass the UGC NET exam can apply for Assistant Professor positions or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in various colleges or institutions. Ensure to follow the official guidelines and deadlines provided by the NTA for a smooth application process.
