Growth in solar, wind, and green hydrogen initiatives strengthens India’s transition to clean energy

The government of India has accelerated the expansion of renewable energy projects as part of its strategy to achieve national climate targets and reduce dependence on fossil fuels. The move reflects the country’s commitment to building a sustainable energy system while supporting long-term economic growth.
A key focus of the initiative is the rapid expansion of solar and wind power capacity. By expanding renewable energy infrastructure and supporting emerging clean technologies, India is taking significant steps toward achieving its climate goals.
Experts believe that continued investment in renewable energy will play a crucial role in shaping India’s future energy landscape. Strengthening clean energy systems will not only support climate action but also contribute to sustainable economic development and environmental protection.
