The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) has announced the Class 10th (HSLC) results on April 10, 2026. The HSLC students can check their results and download marksheets from the official websites, resultsassam.nic.in, results.sebaonline.org, sebaonline.org, and assamresult.in.
In the press release, after the results declaration, the Board stated that students who wish to verify their marks can apply for re-checking of their answer scripts.
SEBA has confirmed that candidates will be able to obtain scanned copies of their evaluated answer script, the OMR sheet, and the official answer key. Applications must be submitted through the designated online portal, which will go live on April 13.
For students who have not cleared all subjects, the board has announced that HSLC compartment examinations will be conducted in May 2026. The online application window for eligible candidates will be opened shortly.
As per eligibility criteria, students who have failed in up to three subjects and have secured at least 170 marks in aggregate will be allowed to appear in the compartment examination. This provision allows students to clear Class 10 without repeating the academic year.
The official notification also stated that the distribution schedule for hard copy certificate-cum-marksheets for successful candidates will be announced separately.
Students who have not passed will not receive the document automatically and will need to apply directly to the board office if required.
The Assam HSLC 2026 recorded an overall pass percentage of 65.62%. Out of 429,249 students who appeared for the examination, 281,701 students were declared successful, showing a slight improvement over last year’s 63.98%.
The Class 10 examinations this year began on February 10, 2026, and concluded on February 27, 2026. In comparison, last year’s HSLC exams were held between February 15 and March 3, with results declared on April 11, 2025.
