Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has announced free bus travel for students appearing in the NEET-UG re-exam on June 20 and 21, offering relief to aspirants facing travel and financial concerns ahead of the medical entrance test.
Students appearing for the medical entrance re-test will be allowed to travel free on Haryana Roadways buses by showing their NEET admit cards.

The state government said the move is intended to reduce travel stress and financial pressure on aspirants preparing for one of the country’s largest entrance examinations.
Officials said the facility will remain available on both days so candidates can commute to examination venues smoothly and focus on the test without worrying about travel arrangements.
More than 22 lakh students are expected to appear for the NEET-UG re-test across the country.
The Haryana government said it has been taking student-focused measures in major examinations and had earlier introduced a similar free transport facility for Common Eligibility Test (CET) aspirants.
Encouraging students, Saini urged candidates to prepare with dedication and appear for the examination confidently. He also conveyed his best wishes for their future and academic success.
The announcement comes amid continued concerns among students and parents over additional expenses and logistical challenges linked to the re-examination process.
Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has also appealed to state governments to introduce free travel support for NEET aspirants.
In a post on X, Kejriwal said students should not face difficulties reaching examination centers when families are already dealing with emotional and financial strain caused by the re-test.
He praised Haryana, Bihar, and Punjab for announcing free travel facilities for candidates and said such measures could ease travel for lakhs of students appearing for the examination.
Kejriwal further expressed hope that other states would adopt similar initiatives to support aspirants.
Meanwhile, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said authorities are making arrangements to ensure a transparent and smooth conduct of the NEET-UG re-test.
He said steps are being taken to maintain the credibility of the examination process and provide students with a better experience during the test.
