Prime Minister Narendra Modi, confident of securing a third term, said that he "arrived with hope in 2014, trust in 2019, and now offers a guarantee in 2024". Speaking at a rally in Nalbari, part of the Barpeta constituency in Assam, the Prime Minister stated, "Modi has guaranteed that all senior citizens over 70 years of age will receive free medical treatment up to Rs 5 lakh under the Ayushman Yojana. Modi will ensure their treatment without any bias."
Modi reiterated the BJP's manifesto commitment to build three crore new homes for the poor over the next five years. "The NDA has resolved to reach out to every citizen of the country and provide them with the amenities they deserve. In the next five years, an additional three crore houses will be constructed for the poor, and everyone will receive them without any discrimination," PM Modi stated.

Referring to the Ram Navami celebrations at Ayodhya's Ram temple, Modi announced that Lord Ram will celebrate his birthday at his home after 500 years. "After a wait of 500 years, Lord Ram has finally been enshrined in his magnificent temple, and in just a few minutes, his birth anniversary will be celebrated in the Ram temple in the sacred city of Ayodhya by applying 'Surya Tilak' to Lord Ram," the PM said.
Modi accused the Congress of only causing problems for the North East and claimed that what the grand old party could not achieve in 60 years, he accomplished in just ten years of his government's rule. "Today, Modi's guarantee is resonating throughout the country, and the North East itself is a testament to Modi's guarantee. The North East, which was burdened with problems by the Congress, has been transformed by the BJP into a realm of opportunities. While the Congress fueled separatism, Modi strived for peace and security. What the Congress could not achieve in 60 years, Modi accomplished in 10 years," the PM added.
