Joint teams of bomb disposal squad, fire brigade, and dog squad immediately rushed to affected schools and started checking all the places to neutralize any potential threat, said a police official.

Several schools in east Delhi and Noida received bomb threats on Feb 7 morning, with police and fire department teams evacuating the people and shutting the campus down, police said.
Police forces from both cities responded promptly, while bomb disposal squads were dispatched to investigate and neutralize any potential threat.

On receiving a bomb threat through spam mail at Shiv Nadar School, the Expressway Police team, Bomb Squad, Fire Brigade, Dog Squad, and BDDS team immediately reached the school and started checking all the places.
According to Delhi Police, St. Stephen’s College also received a bomb threat via email. The bomb disposal team is currently on the scene.
“Senior police officers are present on the spot. The cyber team is investigating the email.” A police official said. The public is requested not to pay heed to the rumors and maintain patience.
Both cities' police forces responded swiftly, and bomb disposal squads were deployed to investigate and neutralize any potential danger.
Since May 2024, bomb threats via email have targeted numerous schools in Delhi, Gurgaon, and Noida. In December 2024, around 40 Delhi schools received similar threats, leading to widespread concern.
Earlier this January, police identified a Class 12 student who had sent bomb threats to at least 23 schools.
A day before, a Class 9 student in Noida was detained for sending hoax bomb threats that led to the evacuation of four schools. The boy admitted to the act, explaining that he did it to get a day off from school.
"The student, after reading online about bomb threats causing panic, watched YouTube videos for hours, learning how to use a VPN to hide his IP address," a police officer said.
