Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 75th birthday sent a resounding message to the world: New India is fearless in the face of terror and nuclear intimidation. Addressing a massive rally in Dhar, he cited a first-of-its-kind confession by a top Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) commander, admitting losses in India’s audacious Operation Sindoor.

“Pakistani terrorists had desecrated the sindoor of our sisters and daughters. Our armed forces responded swiftly and decisively, striking terror camps deep inside enemy territory. This is a New India that strikes terrorists at their homes and fears no nuclear threat,” Modi declared to thunderous applause.

The confession, captured in a viral video, came from Masood Ilyas Kashmiri, a senior Jaish commander. He confirmed that family members of Jaish chief Masood Azhar were killed in the May 7 strike on the group’s Bahawalpur headquarters, Jamia Masjid Subhan Allah.

Operation Sindoor, launched in retaliation to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 25 tourists, reduced nine terror sites, including Bahawalpur, to rubble — marking one of India’s most daring cross-border strikes in recent history.

In his startling admission, Kashmiri detailed the operational reach of Jaish, including its involvement in terror attacks in Delhi and Mumbai. He revealed that Pakistan’s Balakot region served as a hub for Masood Azhar’s operations, underscoring the role of Pakistani territory in sustaining militant networks.

Kashmiri also exposed the direct involvement of Pakistan’s military leadership in Jaish operations, claiming orders to attend funerals of militants killed in Bahawalpur came straight from Pakistan’s GHQ, with generals acting under army instructions. He alleged attempts by the DG ISPR to suppress evidence linking Bahawalpur to Jaish-e-Mohammad.

Operation Sindoor, he admitted, had shaken militant groups, creating panic and forcing them to rally under a renewed call for jihad, “Mission-e-Mustafa.” Yet the broader message from Modi’s speech was clear: India no longer hesitates, it retaliates — and does so decisively.

“Just yesterday, the nation saw a Pakistani terrorist tearfully recounting his ordeal. That is the proof of a New India — resolute, fearless, and unyielding,” Modi concluded.
