Singh, a six-time MP has challenged the accusations and the trial court's order related to the framing of charges in the case.
His petition seeks to contest the legal proceedings in connection with the complaints filed by several women wrestlers. The petition also seeks to contest the continuation of proceedings against him.
The former WFI president has raised questions on the investigation calling it biased reflecting only the version of the victims seeking revenge against him.
Singh has contended that the charge sheet was filed before the trial court based on false and frivolous allegations.
Singh, who represented Gonda, Balrampur, and Kaiserganj was denied a ticket for this year's parliamentary elections after sexual harassment allegations by women wrestlers.
He stepped down as the WFI chief following mounting pressure after facing sexual harassment accusations.
