SBI has opened applications for the recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre, with 7,680 regular vacancies available across categories.
The bank released the SBI Clerk recruitment 2026 notification on Aug 11, outlining the eligibility requirements, application process, examination pattern, syllabus and tentative exam schedule. Interested candidates can apply online through the official SBI website, sbi.gov.in, until Aug 31.

The preliminary examination is tentatively scheduled for Sept 2026, while the SBI Clerk main examination is expected to be held in November 2026.
Candidates must complete the online application by providing their personal and academic information and uploading the required documents in the prescribed format. The application process and fee payment window opened on Aug 11 and will remain available until Aug 31.
Of the 7,680 regular vacancies announced under the recruitment drive, 1,114 are reserved for Scheduled Caste candidates, 837 for Scheduled Tribe candidates, 1,716 for Other Backward Classes, 760 for Economically Weaker Sections and 3,253 for candidates in the General category.
