Samsung Innovation Campus is expanding its emphasis on artificial intelligence in 2026. The company aims to train 20,000 young people across India in AI, including 5,000 participants in Tamil Nadu.

The programme seeks to equip students with technology skills relevant to emerging industries and improve their readiness for employment.

Women Lead Participation in Tamil Nadu's Technology Training Programme

The 71% participation rate among women in Tamil Nadu stands above the 48% recorded across the national cohort in 2025.

Samsung's programme combines technical instruction with practical assignments and projects to help participants develop their understanding of emerging technologies. The initiative is implemented through partnerships with educational institutions and sector-specific skill development organisations.

Training and certification in Tamil Nadu involved the University of Madras, Anna University, Queen Mary's College in Chennai, Mohamed Sathak AJ College of Engineering in Chennai, and KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology in Coimbatore.

At the national level, the programme expanded its reach to 10 states in 2025, training 20,000 young people in technology-related fields.
