Anil Arora, the father of Bollywood actress Malaika Arora, died by suicide on Sep 11. At around 9 am, Anil Arora jumped from his building's terrace.
The police verified that no suicide note was discovered, and the body was sent for a post-mortem. Malaika, who was in Pune at the time, came back to Mumbai after receiving the tragic news.

Arbaaz Khan, Malaika's ex-husband, was seen outside her home, while the Bandra police and crime branch continue to investigate.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Raj Tilak Roshan said, "Mehta's body was discovered on the sixth floor of his residence." We are conducting a thorough investigation, and our team, including forensic experts, is actively involved in the process."
The preliminary evaluation implies that the death was a suicide, but authorities are investigating thoroughly.
"Our investigation will cover all possible angles to ensure that we have a complete understanding of the situation," Roshan said.

The body was sent for a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death and acquire more information.
The entire family of Malaika's ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan, including Salim Khan, Salma Khan, and Sohail Khan, arrived at her parents' home. Arjun Kapoor, who was once in a relationship with Malaika, also came to express his condolences.
Kareena Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Saif Ali Khan, Chunky Panday, Mini Mathur, and others paid their final respects to Malaika's father.
