Actor Mushtaq Khan, best known for his role in Stree 2, revealed that he was kidnapped. According to reports, the actor was invited to an event in Meerut, where he was allegedly kidnapped by a group of men.
Mushtaq, who was given advance payment and flight tickets for the event, described the terrifying ordeal, which lasted for 12 hours.

Shivam Yadav, Mushtaq's business partner, said that the kidnappers demanded a ransom of one crore rupees.
During the captivity, they reportedly tortured the actor and managed to withdraw ₹2 lakh from both Mushtaq's and his son’s bank accounts.
Somehow, Mushtaq managed to escape after hearing the morning azaan. He believed a mosque was nearby and took the opportunity to flee.
“He was shaken, but he was always sure he would file an FIR once he composed himself,” Shivam Yadav shared.
“I went to Bijnor and filed an official FIR yesterday. We have proof, including the flight ticket, bank transaction records, and even CCTV footage from near the airport. Mushtaq also recognizes the neighborhood and the house where he was held. I’m confident the police will catch the culprits soon,” he added.
This incident follows a similar incident by comedian Sunil Pal, who shared his harrowing experience of being kidnapped in Haridwar.
According to Sunil Pal, he was invited to perform at an event and was sent advance payment along with flight tickets.
However, upon reaching Meerut, a group of men allegedly transferred him to another vehicle, where they threatened him with a poison-filled injection.
The kidnappers demanded a ransom of ₹20 lakh and forced him to transfer ₹7.5 lakh to their accounts.
Despite the danger, Sunil managed to negotiate with the kidnappers, and after discussions, they allowed him to book a flight back to Mumbai.
The comedian later filed an FIR at Santacruz Police Station after safely returning to Mumbai.
Mushtaq’s abduction isn’t an isolated case. Actor Rajesh Puri also revealed a similar experience in September.
In an interview, Rajesh explained that he was paid an advance of ₹35,000 and provided with flight tickets to attend an event in Meerut.
However, when he arrived in Delhi, he was transferred into a different car.
As they drove toward Meerut, Rajesh became suspicious and used his connections in Delhi to unsettle the kidnappers.
At a dhaba 12 km away from Meerut, the kidnappers confessed that he was being abducted.
Fortunately, they eventually dropped him off at the border, where his brother-in-law picked him up.
The string of kidnappings has raised alarm over the safety of actors and entertainers who are invited for events in remote locations.
Authorities are now investigating the incidents, and with growing concerns among the entertainment industry, many are calling for stronger security measures for artists traveling for public events.
