Union Agri Minister Chouhan launches free ‘Mama Coaching Classes’ for underprivileged students in MP

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday inaugurated ‘Mama Coaching Classes’ in Madhya Pradesh’s Vidisha district to provide free coaching and career guidance to economically disadvantaged students preparing for competitive examinations.

Chouhan, who represents the Vidisha Lok Sabha constituency, launched the coaching center at the Osho Ashram campus in Indraprastha Colony.

Focus on free competitive exam preparation

Speaking at the event, Chouhan said the initiative was designed to support talented youth who are unable to afford quality coaching facilities.

“The primary objective of Mama Coaching Classes is to provide free guidance to economically disadvantaged but talented youth to better prepare for competitive examinations,” Chouhan said.

He stressed that financial limitations should not stop capable students from achieving their goals.

“If children from rural and ordinary families receive the right direction, good guidance, and opportunities, they can make a distinct mark in various fields across the country, including the administrative services,” he said.

A campaign to support youth aspirations

Addressing students, Chouhan described the coaching center as more than just an educational institution, calling it a broader mission to help young people fulfill their ambitions.

Popularly known as “Mama” in Madhya Pradesh, the Union minister said the initiative was an effort to give back to society and create better opportunities for the younger generation.

He also said politics should be viewed not only as a path to power but also as a tool for public service and social transformation.

Expansion plans announced

Chouhan announced that similar coaching centers would soon be opened in Raisen and Bhairunda.

“Mama Coaching has started today in Vidisha, and we will also start it in Raisen and Bhairunda,” he said.

He urged local residents, volunteers, and members associated with the initiative to actively contribute to its smooth functioning.

Student support and facilities

The Union minister said students traveling from distant areas should receive a safe and comfortable environment that allows them to focus on their studies without difficulties.

According to Chouhan, the initiative could become a model for educational and social service efforts in the region while helping more students secure success in competitive examinations.

Chouhan’s wife Sadhana Singh and son Kartikeya Singh Chouhan were also present during the inauguration ceremony.
