Candidates can edit permitted personal, academic, and examination details through the official portal until 11:50 PM, after which no further modification requests will be accepted by NTA.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application correction window for candidates registered for UGC NET June 2026, allowing applicants to edit permitted details in their forms through the official portal.
Candidates can make corrections by visiting ugc.nta.nic.in and logging in using their application credentials. According to the latest notification, the correction facility will remain available until May 28, 2026, at 11:50 PM.

The agency said this is a one-time correction opportunity for applicants who made errors while filling out their forms.
“NTA has clearly stated that this is a one-time correction opportunity for candidates. Once the correction window closes, no request for modification or editing will be entertained under any circumstances.”
Applicants have been advised to carefully review personal, academic, and examination-related information before submitting the corrected form, as no additional opportunity for changes will be provided after the deadline.
The correction process began on May 26 and will continue for three days. Candidates have also been advised not to wait until the final hours due to the possibility of heavy traffic on the website.
According to NTA, only permitted fields in the application form can be modified during the correction period.
The UGC NET examination is conducted for determining eligibility for Assistant Professor posts, Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), and admission to PhD programs in universities and higher educational institutions across India.
Candidates seeking to update details in their applications can access the correction link directly through the UGC NET June 2026 section on the official NTA website.
